NonStopSun is a personal, UK-based travel-deals website (“NonStopSun”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what limited data we handle when you visit the site and your rights under UK data protection law. It is written to reflect what the site actually does — no more.

Who we are

NonStopSun is a personal travel-deals website based in the United Kingdom, run by an individual. We’re the data controller for the limited information described below, and you can reach us at hello@nonstopsun.com.

What we collect and why

  • Basic usage analytics. We keep simple aggregate counts of how many times each deal page is viewed and how many times the “Book this deal” link is clicked.
  • Cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookie the site sets is an essential login cookie for the site administrator’s private dashboard; it is not used for ordinary visitors browsing the site.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider processes each request and may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

Legal basis

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to run, secure and understand basic use of the site, and to operate the administrator login cookie, which is essential to the service. We do not use consent-based advertising cookies because we do not set any.

Third parties

  • Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf and has its own privacy practices.
  • Outbound affiliate links. When you click through to book a deal, you leave this site and go to a third-party travel provider. Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookies, and we are not responsible for them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we do not hold visitor accounts or profiles, we usually hold little or no personal data about you, but you are welcome to contact us about any of these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
